JULIDOCHROMIS DICKFELDI 4CM

Julidochromis dickfeldi is a striking rock-dwelling cichlid endemic to Lake Tanganyika. With its elongated body, creamy beige base colour, and bold black horizontal stripes, it adds elegance to any Tanganyikan setup. Reaching around 7–9 cm, it’s relatively peaceful but can become territorial when breeding. Best kept in rocky aquaria of 100 litres or more, with plenty of caves and hiding spots. Pairs form strong bonds and often spawn in rock crevices.

Fun fact: Like many cichlids, both parents actively guard their eggs and fry, making them fascinating to observe during breeding.
